When selling your home, it's important to have a professional eye and design... here's why:

Using a professional stager when selling your home can be highly beneficial for several reasons. Here are some key points on why professional staging is important and statistics regarding the rate of return when staging a home:

  1. First Impressions: When potential buyers visit your home, the first impression they get is crucial. Professional staging helps create an appealing and inviting atmosphere that showcases the home's best features. It helps buyers visualize themselves living in the space, increasing their emotional connection to the property.

Now, let's look at statistics regarding the rate of return when staging a home:

  1. According to the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the majority of buyers' agents believe that staging has an effect on their clients' perception of a home. In the 2021 Profile of Home Staging report, 82% of buyers' agents said staging made it easier for buyers to visualize the property as their future home.

  2. In the same report, 23% of buyers' agents indicated that staging a home increased the dollar value offered by buyers between 1% and 5% compared to similar unstaged homes.

  3. The Real Estate Staging Association (RESA) reported that on average, professionally staged homes spent 73% less time on the market compared to unstaged homes.

  4. According to RESA, the average return on investment (ROI) for home staging is approximately 586%. This means that for every dollar spent on staging, homeowners can potentially receive a return of $5.86.

These statistics demonstrate that professional staging can have a significant impact on a home's perceived value, buyer interest, and selling time. It is an investment that can yield a high return and increase the chances of a successful sale in a competitive real estate market.
