About Annie Junker

I was born in Phoenix, Arizona, but moved to Richmond at a very young age. I love the West, and it holds a special place in my heart, but I have always considered Richmond my hometown. After graduating from Godwin High School, I felt the desire to go a different route from the usual, in-state school. I found my way to Principia College, located in the village of Elsah, Illinois where I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication. Upon moving back to Richmond, I have seen this city grow and change in many ways and I have absolutely loved watching it happen. Richmond has always had the beautiful, Southern charm and fascinating history that makes it unique, but within the last decade or so, it has been moulded into this incredibly fun, eclectic town with distinct neighborhoods, constant activities, plenty of breweries, and a killer food scene. I currently reside in the West End near Short Pump and am a total homebody. But in much of my spare time, I can be found with friends and family in Scott's Addition, the Fan, Church Hill or pretty much all of Richmond! I enjoy exploring new places within RVA, boutique exercise classes, movies, reading, and traveling. I am a Green Bay Packers fan (Go Pack Go!), taco enthusiast, and lover of elephants, art, and beautiful places. I am excited to see where our beloved River City is headed - to watch it continue to grow and take its shape. But more importantly, I am excited to help my fellow Richmonders find their perfect home.
